Winemaker Notes

We really like our 2015 Cab. So we decided to an extremely limited supply of 1.5L magnum bottles; each hand numbered. We call it “The Professor” in honor of Mark’s dad, Prof. Christopher Cobden Davis (who we cartoonishly feature on our 750ml bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon). This larger format bottle will age even better than the regular 750ml bottle. It is the perfect bottle to open around the holidays, for a party, or to keep in the cellar for a special occasion. Be like Zoolander and go with a magnum! Supplies extremely limited (only 24 bottles made).

Vineyards

Sourced from a small section of Silverado Vineyard that no longer exists, this truly is the last of this wine. Despite the warm temperatures of the 2015 vintage, this wine still maintained great acidity. All fruit was clone 4 of Cabernet Sauvignon.
